The Phil in Our Community

A successful orchestra reflects the community that it serves. Since the orchestra’s inception, Seattle Philharmonic members have represented all walks of life, bringing a broad demographic of social, economic and professional backgrounds to the organization. Teachers share melodies with doctors, office managers harmonize with engineers, and students sit side by side with community elders.

The Phil is not just an orchestra, but a shared passion, and it is with your generous support that we are able to grow and reach a greater part of the community.

There are many ways to give to the orchestra. We’ve outlined a few suggestions in the links above, but also encourage your creativity.

Friends of the Phil

You may contribute to the general operating fund of the orchestra, or donate to a specific facet of our organization.

Gifts may also be made in honor of others. The Phil will send a special message to the recipient of your gift, letting them know about the contribution you have made on their behalf.
