Playing for the Phil
As a member owned orchestra, the Seattle Phil offers musicians a rare opportunity for participation within the organization. Being a musician for the Philharmonic is more than rehearsing and playing music, it is an entry into one of the longest running orchestra communities in the Puget Sound Region.
Applying
Formal Auditions are held each fall with Music Director Adam Stern, personnel director Dick Griffith, and selected section principals. The orchestra will hold immediate ad-hoc auditions for sections with more pressing needs.
