Concert Kinetics
In those few moments that exist after the sound check and when the house opens, there is that magical excitement where we, audience and orchestra, prepare ourselves to cross that divide between the potential energy of notes on paper to the kinetic energy of expressed sound and emotions felt. I think fingers were tingling all around…
If you were there today, I do hope you enjoyed the program of Beethoven and Khachaturian as much as the music enveloped us with its tragedies and triumphs.
